So Jason finally has some testosterone in the house! Hallelujah! Just wanted to welcome little (soon to be big) Tex to our family. He is a black and white boxer. We got him from a breeder in Texas...hence the name! He is a super cute, lovable little puppy. He is curious, playful, well adjusted and did I mention super cute? He is definitely not replacing our Jessie, but it has been nice to mix up the routine a little bit and make some new memories. It was kind of weird, but the first couple of days that we had him, Jason, Taylor and I all had our moments of breaking down in tears about Jessie. It brought back how much we miss her and what she meant to us as part of our family. I didn't expect that to happen. But, like with all things in our life lately, we just went with it and felt through it and then felt better again. We know that puppies are a lot of work and the first year or two you put in A LOT more than you ever get out of them. But, we also know that we will grow to love Tex for who he is and that he will be an incredible dog! We are working very hard on his training and I'm sure that it will seem like no time before he meshes and we trust him and he becomes just part of the fam! We are glad you are here Tex!
