Favorite Pics of the week!

These are my two favorite pictures of Kamryn from the last couple of weeks. I love her little feet! It seems like they are always poking out of the blankets! I also love her big eyes. They look right through me! I also love her hands! They are always holding onto something so cutely! (Is that even a word? Oh well!) Or they are clasped together with her fingers interlocking! She still has me completely smitten! I get overwhelmed with emotion just looking at her, snuggling her and taking care of her! I love my girls!

33??!!! WHAT?!

Last week I celebrated my 33rd birthday. I have been in a pretty chill mood, so that is how the day went. Low key, but fun. We spent the day going around town getting all my birthday freebies...makeup from Sephora, free lunch, frozen yogurt at Golden Spoon. It was great. That night Jason and I went on a date to sushi. He surprised me with this gorgeous ring and some money to order the oils that I love. So sweet! After dinner, we walked around the mall to try and find me a shirt or something. For the first time in my life, (or maybe because I haven't shopped in literally a full year!) I felt very old. All of the stores that I usually hit had nothing that I even remotely liked. Everything was torn and hung huge and weird. I must not like the "hip" style right now. Oh well! I already went through the 80s and do not wish to relive them! :) Anyway, looks like Ross is still going to be my store, since that is the only place I had any luck! Gotta love Ross! Anyway, it was a great birthday with calls, texts and facebook birthday wishes from family and friends. I feel very loved.

Together Forever

My perfect, amazing grandpa was reunited with his sweetheart of 75 years this morning on the other side. Now they can continue on together forever. It seems like yesterday that I would snuggle up with him on his lap in his favorite recliner and he would pull out his harmonica and we would sing songs together. That is how I learned, "You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille". I will treasure these simple, but lasting memories. This is a picture of them 4 years ago at Morgan's blessing. They were the most loving, giving, caring grandparents a person could have. If you were to write a book on what grandparents should be, they would be it. I hope that I can live up to the amazing legacy that these two individuals left here on this earth. I can't believe that their chapter of life is over and now continues elsewhere. I will miss them both...until we see each other again. How blessed I am to know that this life is not the end. That we can be together as families forever. I know without a doubt that this it true.
