Easter was so much fun this year! The day started at my sister's church, watching her and her husband talk on Jesus Christ and his Resurrection and listening to her sing a beautiful solo. It really helped to keep me focused on what Easter is all about. Later, we had a big family party with the yummiest food....ham, au gratin potatoes, homemade rolls, guacamole, frog eye salad, spinach salad with pears and avocados, yummy raspberry cheesecake dessert! Oh no! Sounds like I am hungry again!!! We had a fun easter egg hunt with the kids! They loved it! They ate candy from sun up to sun down. Needless to say, there is some grouchiness (me included) going on in our house today!! But, did we stop eating the candy?...NO WAY!!! :) One of my favorite things in this world are family parties! It is so much fun to get together and just talk and laugh and talk and laugh! There is nothing better than the time we spend together! The only thing to make the day better would be if we hadn't missed Jason so much!!! But...we are looking forward to seeing him very soon!!!
